St. Pauli NA
I really don't understand why one would buy non-alcoholic beer. You can't argue that it's because you enjoy the taste of beer, as not a single non-alcoholic beer actually tastes like it's alcohol bearing cousin--beer. NA is merely the 'essence of beer' or imitation beer. St. Pauli's NA is in the elite class of imptorted NA, which includes beers such as Beck's Haake Beck or Guiness's Kaliber. You could say these beers are a step-up from American NAs, such as Busch NA or Old Milwaukee NA....but really, they're not.
St Pauli's NA had a very odd taste...like a fruity, skunked, watered down beer. Throw a strawberry in a can of Bud Light, let it set in the sun all day, chill it, bottle and price at $7 per six pack, then you've got St. Pauli's NA.

Why on earth are you indulging in the NA stuff anyway Strap?
Sonya's the NA drinker...I've never understood it.
Oh no, don't tell me she's pregnant again! I mean isn't that what you subsititue when you're are pregnant redneck?
pregnant redneck? you gotta break out of that 1980s paradigm. Non-alcoholic is what all the glitterati are drinking these days. creme de la creme, folks. wake up.
I've never understood the point of NA--I've never had one that tasted good. The alcoholic content definitely has flavor in beer. I find that when a beer has less than 5% or more than 8%, it usually doesn't taste quite right.
how about the alcohol-free wine? that shit's horrible.
You know if I'm going to indulge in those calories, I better be gettning something in return, and not just a dose of carbonation either.
Well, my body can longer handle alcohol (I get headaches) and I no longer drink. This has not caused me to desire non-alcoholic wines or beer.
