Beer Bottle Insulated Cover Thing

Last night I tested this beer bottle insulated cover thing. I'm not sure of the technical term for the product, as it's a loaner. Usually these things have sport the clever catchphrase of the day, such as "Git R Done" or "Whatchu talkin' 'bout Willis", a NASCAR number, local sports team or something touristy. This one falls into the touristy realm with tne "Surf's Up Hawaii" motif. The designs are basically marketed towards mullets.

Now for the test. I used a nice cold Sierra Nevada Pale Ale as my test beer. Beer was inserted at 7:05. I took one sip as the control sip. As you can see from the YouTube video below, I'm not experienced in the ways of dressing a beer:

The plan was to take a drink every 30 minutes to see how well the insulation kept the beer cold. I made it until 9:05. The insulation worked well and the beer remained cold. Got up this morning at 4:55. Still had half a beer left, so decided to give it a go...the beer was room temperature. I had to pour the rest out...sad to waste half a bottle of Sierra Nevada, especially at $9.05 per six pack! Conclusion: good at keeping beer cold somewhere between 2-10 hours. I'm not sure when I'll ever need a beer to stay cold for that long.

I take it you'll go with the "Watchu talkin' 'bout Willis" version...
