On our drive from KY to VA, we made a couple of stops along the Bourbon Trail.
First stop was Wild Turkey in Lawrenceburg. There, we met Master Distiller Jimmy Russell...a nice guy that chatted with us for quite awhile.
We followed it up with a stop at Woodford Reserve. Didn't get to take the tour, but sampled the chocolate bourbon balls. Good stuff.

a shame that there was no pickin' going on...not a banjo or mandolin in sight.
